All SPOKES services are free of charge and available to any person with a disability living in our service area. Our approach is consumer-directed. You set the goals, we provide the support.
Core Services
Peer Counseling
One-on-one support from trained peer counselors who have lived experience with disability. Share strategies, set goals, and navigate challenges with someone who truly understands.
Information & Referral
Connecting you with the right resources: benefits programs, community services, assistive technology, healthcare providers, and more to help you make informed decisions.
Independent Living Skills Training
Practical training in daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, personal care, communication, and using technology tailored to your individual goals.
Housing Assistance
Help finding and maintaining accessible, affordable housing. We assist with applications, landlord communication, and connecting you to housing resources in the region.
Employment Support
Guidance on job searching, workplace accommodations, benefits counseling, and connecting with vocational rehabilitation and other employment services.
Transportation Assistance
Help navigating transportation options in Klamath Falls and Lakeview, including paratransit, ride programs, and planning accessible routes.
Benefits Counseling
Assistance understanding Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and other benefits programs including how work affects your benefits.
Systems Advocacy
We advocate alongside consumers to change policies, improve accessibility, and remove systemic barriers that limit independence in our community.
Who We Serve
SPOKES Unlimited serves people of all ages with any type of disability, including physical, sensory, cognitive, psychiatric, or chronic health condition, living in Klamath and Lake counties in Oregon.
We also provide information and referral services to family members, caregivers, and community partners who support people with disabilities.
