This mission has guided SPOKES Unlimited since our founding in 1988. It shapes every service we offer, every partnership we build, and every decision we make as an organization.

Why "SPOKES"?
The name SPOKES comes from the belief that peer support and the sharing of information will eliminate the need to reinvent the wheel.
Just as the spokes of a wheel work together to carry weight and maintain balance, our community of peers, staff, and partners work together to support independent living for people with disabilities across southern Oregon.
About SPOKES Unlimited
SPOKES Unlimited is a private, not for profit, community-based Center for Independent Living, established in 1988. The majority of our board of directors and staff members have disabilities, giving us direct insight into the needs of the people we serve.

We stand alongside consumers to change policies and systems that limit independence in southern Oregon.
